At River Wild Adventures, we’re immensely passionate about white water rafting! It’s a brilliant way to see Scotland from a different perspective, with a good dose of adrenaline and fun thrown into the mix.
We have chosen to focus our summer rafting activities on rivers that are controlled by dams and we are very selective of our winter rafting rivers. This ensures that we can guarantee the water levels that will make the experience memorable – we want to keep the 'white water' in our rafting experiences no matter the weather or season! These rivers are all Grade 3 (minimum) on the river rating system. In layman’s terms 'Grade 3' means big, bouncy waves, some fun features to navigate with enough challenge to keep your adrenaline levels up but not so extreme to make you nervous.

Our white water rafting, canyoning and tubing adventures are available as half-day activities. However, if you’d like to make a day of it then we can offer you additional experiences (dependent on location and availability) through either ourselves or one of our partner companies. Where available, we are also happy to help arrange lunch options to keep you well-fed during your adventures.
